In a vast state like Rajasthan, we have only one National Law School which due to severe national level competition is not able to cater adequately to the law-aspirants from the State. The youth must be given wider options to pursue law along the lines of the national law schools, even if they fail to make it to the few seats available at these schools and Seedling School of Law and Governance caters to their aspirations and is an attractive option to them.
Seedling School of Law ang Governance was inaugurated by Hon’ble Justice P.P. Naolekar, the then Judge of the Supreme Court of India, in December 2007. It is the first Private University in Rajasthan that has received accreditation under NAAC in 2008. It has been one of the most eminent private universities for almost last decade, showering its excellent academic reputation all over the India.
Seedling School of Law and Governance is following the National Law School pattern with semester system. UGC norms are followed for other courses(LLM,PhD). Special Feature: compulsory Moot courts for each Law subject. Students participate in national and international Moot Competitions.
It has several plus points. Firstly the students are given various special lectures by distinguished luminaries. And secondly that it offers a wide range of specializations in the following areas, inter alia: Constitutional Laws, International Laws, International Litigation Criminal Laws, Business Laws, Insurance and Banking Laws, Intellectual Property Law.
It is located it in an area where students will never face any sort of disturbance caused by the local masses in our regular day-to-day life. The seniors here are helpful and kind to everyone who approaches them and help the university achieve its true potential by representing it nationally.
The school of law is vigilant about sensitive case like ragging as it has a strict authority that keeps the activities of the students in check.
