Agrasar School: 27th – 29th April, 2018 (Dharamshala | Palampur | Bir-Billing | McLeodGanj)

Apply by April 5, 2018
About the Event
Agrasar School is a 3-day fully residential program by the Agrasar Foundation to embed a sense of community engagement and entrepreneurship in travelers and youth. The program will include formal visits to social organizations and informal visits to places of tourist attraction in Dharamshala, Palampur, Bir-Billing and McLeodGanj. Furthermore, it will present an opportunity to get involved in adventure sports such as paragliding and trekking.

Within a short span of 3 days, you will get an opportunity to experience scenic beauty of Himachal Pradesh, visit sustainable organizations, interact with inspirational change-makers, and network with a brilliant peer group. For adventure freaks, a truly eye opening experience awaits in form of paragliding. For others, community visits will prove to be simply overwhelming.

After this experience, you will realize the true value of people and things you take for granted in your life. You will learn to question the status quo, find solutions to complexities of your life, and learn very precious life lessons. Not to mention, you will set the bar of travel and learning goals too high for yourself and your friends.

15 candidates will be selected for the 2018 Himalayan Spring Edition of Agrasar School on the basis of their achievements, social work and travel experience. These candidates will be also provided with an internship opportunity at Agrasar Foundation and their experiences will be published on the Agrasar Blog.

Candidates will be required to report at Dharamshala (Himachal Pradesh) at 8 AM on April 27, 2018 and the programme will come to an end at 6 PM on April 29, 2018.

Come, experience true happiness with us! 🙂
