LawShastra website was established with a vivid objective for providing people with spiffing articles and study materials, educating and keeping everyone updated, provides information and guidance on competitive examinations and to offer short courses related to law and policy.

About DSLIC

DSLIC is a part of DSNLU -Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University (DSNLU) vide DSNLU Act, 2008 established by The Government of Andhra Pradesh at Visakhapatnam to impart quality legal education, is recognised u/s 2(f) of UGC Act,1956 and the BCI.   (website: www.dsnlu.ac.in).

DSNLU inaugurated the Legal Incubation Centre in 2018; the centre aims at developing advocacy and entrepreneurship skills among young lawyers and law students. It acts as institutional mechanism for providing various services including information on all aspects of professional skills required for budding lawyers. In order to encourage LawShastras’ entrepreneurship initiative DSLIC is collaborating to conduct this Event.

Few objectives of LIC are twofold-

  • To bridge the gap between theory and practice,
  • To provide opportunities for experiential learning to students and young lawyers.
  • To encourage entrepreneurship

About the Event

LawShastra in collaboration with Legal Incubation Centre (LIC), Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University, Visakhapatnam is organising its 1st National Quiz Competition “Jural Quest 1.0”. The objective behind this competition is to encourage and augment the interested participants in attempting and enhancing their general and legal knowledge in competitive spirit of learning and keeping abreast with the developments in this field.

Important Guidelines

The Competition will be conducted on an online platform. Participants are required to have internet access on their computer/laptop or smart phone. The competition will be conducted in two phases. The first is Preliminary Round followed by a Final Round. The Total number of question in both the round would be 100 wherein a participant shall be granted 1 mark for each correct answer and 0.25 marks shall be deducted for every incorrect answer.

  • Format of Quiz:

The pattern of questions will be “Multiple Choice Question”, the participants will get 4 choices out of which one option will be the most appropriate and correct answer.

  • Eligibility for the Participation
  1. Student who are pursuing or have completed their law degree,
  2. Students from any background who have knowledge & education in legal field.

The Participants are required to make a payment of Rs. 100/- towards registration fee for the quiz competition. The payment can be made via Google pay or Phonepe, the account details are as follows:

  1. Candidates are required to make the payment and fill in the necessary details in the online registration form.
  2. Successfully registered participants will be provided with the rules and regulation of the

Preliminary round of the Competition.

In a competition, every participant is a winner and every participant will receive a participation certificate. Following are the prizes up for grab:

Note: The dates of internship shall be confirmed once the lockdown is eased and regular work and Court start functioning. Certificate of internship shall be granted upon successful completion of the internship. Further, detail shall be emailed to the respective winners.
