Day 3: NLIU INADR concludes

It was finally time for the ultimate day, the third day! The quarters, semis and finals, were all scheduled for the third day. The quarters was a community mediation problem, following which the semis was a commercial mediation problem.

The finals took place in the Auditorium from, the problem for which was a commercial mediation problem. Following this, the closing ceremony took place. The Chief guest for the event was Justice Ved Prakash Sharma, retired judge of the Madhya Pradesh. The finalists in the Client/Advocate Category were the teams representing National Academy of Legal Studies and Research and National Law School of India University, Bengaluru, and the mediators in the finals were National Academy of Legal Studies and Research and National Law University, Jodhpur.

The awards were as follows:

  1. Best Mediator: Aeshna Jain, University Institute of Legal Studies, Punjab
  2. Best Individual Advocate and Client Pair: Rohan Tewari and Anshul Butani, National Law School of India University, Bengaluru
  3. Best Advocate and Client Team: National Law School of India University, Bengaluru
  4. Runners-up: National Law School of India University, Bengaluru
  5. Winners: National Academy of Legal Studies and Research
